The main complex of Heathrow Terminal 2 was completed in Nov 2013 and before opening for the passengers it was Under test for 6 Months. Terminal 2 includes a Satellite pier ( T2b), A 1340 car park space a cooling station to generated chilled water and an energy centre and taxi Pick Up point. History Of terminal 3
On November 1961 Terminal 3 was opened as Oceanic Terminal to Handel long routes for foreign carriers to the United States. Asia and Far Eastern destinations. At that time the airport had direct access of Helicopter service to Central London from the gardens on the roof of the Terminal Building. In 1968 it was renamed as Terminal 3 and expanded with the addition of an arrivals building in 1970 and also other facilities were added including the UK first moving walkways. In 2006, new £105 million Pier 6 was completed to accommodate the Airbus A380 superjumbo; Emirates and Qantas operate regular flights from Terminal 3 using the Airbus A380.
